WRFC Golf
Tournament
With the summer 7s season
in the rearview mirror, WRFC is starting to look
ahead towards the fall campaign and fund-raising
season. With that in mind, the fall's
major event is this year's WRFC Classic Golf
Tournament.
The tournament this year
is on Sunday, October 5th (Registration at
7:00am with a 7:30am start time) at Leicester
Country Club in Leicester, MA.
The cost
this year is $100 for a single player, $400 for
a foursome, $100 for a hole sponsor and $475 for
a foursome/hole sponsor package. Player
fees cover:
- 18 holes of
golf
- Steak dinner and awards
presentation at the Banner Bar &
Grille
- Contests: hole in one
(sponsored by Worcester Physical Therapy),
closest to the pin, longest drive and
more
- A chance to wear the coveted
WRFC Classic Champion's jacket
Hole
sponsors get a sign announcing their sponsorship
at the tee box and a mention at the awards
ceremony. A link to the registration form can be

You can also pay online using paypal,
but please also fill out and send in your
registration form, indicating that you have
already paid via
paypal.

Forever Strong Movie
Event
First, WRFC would like
to say thank you to all of those who came out in
support of the Phil Callahan Memorial Rugby Match.
This event was successful thanks to the strong
community of current and former players of the
Worcester Rugby Football Club.
With that said, WRFC
would like to invite all of those interested to
the Forever Strong Movie Event. WRFC, along
with the Worcester Shamrocks, Worcester Youth
Rugby and WPI Men and Women's Rugby will be
renting out a theater at Solomon Pond Mall in
Marlborough for a special showing of Forever
Strong, the first major rugby themed movie to be
released in the US. See this

$10 for adults and $5 for youth under 18. The
event will be held on Sunday, 9/21/2008 at 3:30
PM. Limited seating
available.
